Privacy policy

Short version: DuoPrompt has no accounts, doesn't send your scripts, voice or videos to us, and the app doesn't track you.

Last updated 2026-10-08

What stays on your iPhone

Microphone and speech recognition

Voice-follow uses Apple's Speech framework to recognize what you say so the script can keep your place. On iPhones that support on-device recognition, DuoPrompt requires it, so your audio is processed on your phone. If your device doesn't support on-device recognition, Apple may process audio on its servers under Apple's privacy policy. DuoPrompt never sends your audio to us.

Camera and Photos

The camera is used only while the prompter is open, to show your preview and record takes. DuoPrompt asks for add-only Photos access, which lets it save videos but not see your library.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. We don't receive your payment details. Apple tells the app whether you have Pro so it can unlock features.

Analytics and advertising

The DuoPrompt app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

This website

If you join the launch list, we store your email address only to tell you when DuoPrompt is available, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. This site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.

This website (not the app) uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. We don't use it for advertising. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or your browser's tracking protection. See how Google uses this data.

Children

DuoPrompt is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their information.
